Advisory Board
The mission of the Association is to enable people and organizations to succeed through improved strategic thinking, planning, and action. The North Alabama Chapter of the Association for Strategic Planning in keeping with the Association’s mission is to be the primary source in Alabama for strategic planning, execution, management and evaluation best practices knowledge, tools and methodologies for its membership. To this end, we have set the following goals for the organization: - Increase awareness of ASP- North Alabama Chapter and its activities within the business, public sector, non-profit and education communities
- Develop a stable membership and corporate sponsorship base
- Establish a knowledge repository of best practices in the areas of strategic planning, strategy management, strategy execution and strategy and performance evaluation.
The ASP – North Alabama Chapter (NAC) is committed to being the preeminent knowledge resource for strategic planning in the North Alabama area, which includes Huntsville and surrounding area. The NAC is committed to promoting strategic planning through educational programming, access to research, facilitating networking connections, promoting innovation, collaboration, standardization, and best practices. The ASP – NAC will empower its members by supplying the tools and opportunities essential for improvement, while simultaneously raising the awareness and importance of strategic planning within companies and organizations worldwide.
